Among his seven rules for singing, John Wesley says, “Sing lustily and with good courage. Beware of singing as if you were half dead, or half asleep; but lift up your voice with strength. Be no more afraid of your voice now, nor more ashamed of its being heard, than when you sung the songs of Satan.”
We at Cherry Grove take this rule to heart. We love to sing! We sing songs of many types: contemporary praise songs, traditional hymns from the hymnal, and—a favorite—gospel songs.
Our faithful keyboardist, Juanita, has been providing rousing, inspiring accompaniment for more than 70 years.
